Wellington is very compact compared with Chch. I live in a suburb near Island Bay and on the bus in the morning I can get into the CBD in about half an hour. We have friends who commute from Petone and it's often quicker due to less stops on the way, but is further from the CBD itself.   We lived near the rail tracts No We lived next door to the off-license shop of Miss Strathern. See pictures elsewhere of that location. Wellington Street at that time meant Nellies fish and chip shop and Dick’s little grocery shop at Stanley St. He .

Details from the Census’s new experimental Household Pulse survey show that between the June and July survey weeks overall employment fell by 5%, or million jobs. Within that, government jobs fell by 13%, turning off an automatic stabilizer, as did those in family businesses, a measure of Main Street . Wellington Crossing is a 26 acre condominium community in Waltham, Massachusetts that combines the best of both worlds - a scenic countryside feel with all the amenities of urban living. Surrounded by eight acres of conservation land that offer panoramic views of Boston, this setting puts you just far enough away from the hustle and bustle, yet.

Hi, Would like to know if there are nice places to visit near wellington. We are 2 adults and a 15 year old. Am thinking of staying a few days in wellington city and if there are places near wellington outside worth a visit, we will rent a car and stay in several places along the way. Would love to visit scenic places with short walks or beaches. Does anybody know what they're building on Wellington Street near the Mitchell Freeway overpass?
